In September 2011 Zita launched the UK’s first integrated IVF clinic: the "Zita West Assisted Fertility’ (IVF) Programme." In addition to all forms of assisted conception treatment, a wide range of related complementary therapies and treatments are also available through the programme, all of which can be integrated into your overall IVF treatment plan. These include: nutrition, acupuncture, fertility counselling, hypnotherapy, breathing/relaxation and massage, and our own unique mind-body programme. In over 25 years of practice, Zita has seen thousands of couples who have experienced difficulty getting pregnant and helped them to conceive both naturally and, where necessary, through IVF. The most recently published figures for her Assisted Fertility Programme show a success rate (clinical pregnancies per fresh embryo transferred) of 52.9%. Her team includes mainstream medical doctors, nurses, midwives, counsellors and complementary therapists, who all combine their professional skills to provide holistic care and support for women and their partners on all aspects of fertility, pregnancy and reproductive health. The Clinic's philosophy is to provide individualised and highly personalised care and support.
Zita is a regular speaker at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, sits on the editorial board of the British Journal of Midwifery, and has also contributed a chapter to the RCOG handbook.
Zita has developed her own range of vitamins and minerals for fertility and pregnancy. She is also Ambassador for First Response pregnancy and ovulation kits.
The Clinic has a network of affiliated acupuncturists throughout the UK and Ireland, whose members have been trained in the ‘Zita West way’.
