Feeling unduly anxious or depressed?

Though pregnancy is usually a happy time for most of us, for some women it can raise unresolved issues, which may benefit from some short term therapy or counselling. Life isn't always plain sailing and during major transitional events like pregnancy some extra emotional support can be invaluable, particularly if, for whatever reason, you don't feel you can turn to your partner for it.

Pregnancy hormones can affect mood, as can nutritional deficiencies and pregnancy associated anxieties and depression. Whatever the symptoms and whatever the cause, don't feel that you have to soldier on in silence. If you feel that some help is needed we have a counsellor and a psychotherapist here at the Clinic, both of whom have years of experience to offer in dealing with these kinds of issues.

If you'd like to arrange an appointment, or find out more, please call our reception and one of our receptionists will be able to advise you on which member of our team it would be best for you to see. Click on "Book a consultation, treatment or class" from the menu bar on the left hand side of this page for details of how to get in touch.
