Sexual Infections

Low level sexually transmitted infections (which can often be symptom-free) can result in reduced fertility, miscarriage, premature labour and failed IVF treatment, and it can be sensible to have yourself screened prior to starting your cycle.

Screening for the full range of the most common infections is now available at the Clinic. Following a pre-test consultation, and based on your individual history and circumstances, Dr Dawkins, our sexual health specialist, will be able to suggest the package of tests that is most suitable for you, all of which can be made from a single urine sample.

Consultations with Dr Dawkins are £95 and the package of tests range in price from £90 - £180, depending on the number required.

Infections for which we routinely test include: Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, Mycoplasma genitalium, Ureaplasma, Trichomonas, Gardnerella, Herpes, Hepatitis B and C, HIV.

Sexual screening can be provided as a one-off service.
