Pregnancy Test

A pregnancy test is usually taken between 14 - 16 days after your embryos have been transferred. Sometimes it may be necessary to repeat the test, in which case you'll be given advice on how to do this.

If the test is positive we will arrange for you to have an ultrasound scan three weeks later, to check that the heartbeat is visible and confirm that you are still pregnant. Once the pregnancy has been confirmed you will be discharged into the care of your GP.
