Suki was feeling really tearful and low about six weeks after having her baby. She loved her new son very much and couldn’t understand why she was feeling so down. She came in for two counselling sessions to the clinic where she was able to just talk about her problems without feeling guilty or as though she was abnormal. We also recommended that she saw our nutritionist who worked out an eating plan for her that included lots of mood-boosting foods (such as Essential Fatty Acids and Selenium rich foods). She was soon recovered and overcame her depression without having to resort to taking anti-depressants.
