Who is it for?

Ultra Omega is an omega-3 with a unique formulation to ensure efficient absorption without the lingering fishy aftertaste that often accompanies traditional supplements.

Derived from sustainably caught herring roe, Ultra Omega provides a high-quality source of DHA and EPA, crucial omega-3 fatty acids which are not synthesised by the body so must be supplied via the diet or as a supplement. The omega-3 fatty acids are bound to phospholipids – the natural form of fat found in the body, allowing for efficient absorption by the body as well as ensuring no fishy aftertaste.

The herring roe is also a natural source of choline, a key nutrient that forms part of all cell membranes in the body. Choline plays a particularly important role during pregnancy for foetal brain development.

Omega-3s are recognised for their ability to correct inflammation, a key concern for those dealing with conditions like PCOS and endometriosis. Additionally, during pregnancy, DHA contributes to the normal development of the foetus’s eyes and brain, highlighting its role in nurturing the next generation.

Pregnant and breastfeeding women are recommended a daily intake of 200 mg DHA in addition to the recommended daily intake of omega-3 fatty acids for adults, i.e. 250 mg DHA and EPA.

The capsules are small and easy to swallow. Take 2 capsules each day before food, the capsules can either be taken together or dose split out during the day.
