About this webinar

If you have been told your hormone tests are "normal" but your body is telling you otherwise, this free webinar with Zita West Fertility Nutritionist Raquel Monroy is for you. Whether you are trying to conceive, preparing for IVF, living with PMOS (PCOS), endometriosis or a thyroid condition, or simply feel that your hormones are out of balance, you will come away with a clearer picture of what may be going on and practical tools to support your body.

Inflammation is one of the most talked-about topics in health, yet it is rarely discussed when it comes to hormone care. Low-grade inflammation is not the acute kind you notice when you cut your finger or catch a cold. It is a quieter, systemic process that may not cause obvious symptoms and will not show up on a standard blood test or hormone panel. Yet research increasingly suggests it can affect how hormones are made, how they communicate with cells and how they are cleared from the body, with knock-on effects for your cycle, ovulation, blood sugar, energy and mood.

In this session, Raquel explains what low-grade inflammation is, what drives it and how it can disrupt hormone health. Rather than adding to the noise, she focuses on realistic, evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle changes that fit into everyday life, so you leave feeling clearer on what you can do right now to help bring your body back into balance.

What this free hormone health webinar will cover

During this session, Raquel will walk you through the key areas where inflammation and hormones meet, and what you can do to support your body, whether you are trying to conceive, preparing for treatment or simply wanting to feel more like yourself.

  • What low-grade inflammation really is: how chronic, low-level inflammation differs from a normal immune response, why it so often goes unnoticed, and why standard blood tests and hormone panels rarely pick it up
  • How inflammation disrupts your hormones: the links between inflammation and insulin resistance, cortisol and stress, thyroid function, and the signalling between the brain and the ovaries that drives your cycle and ovulation
  • The inflammation connection in PMOS (PCOS), endometriosis and perimenopause: how inflammatory load may play a role in these conditions, and what can be done to support your body
  • Gut health and the microbiome: how the health of your gut influences inflammation and hormone balance, including how oestrogen is processed and cleared
  • Anti-inflammatory nutrition: the foods, eating patterns and blood sugar strategies that can help calm inflammation, with simple ways to build them into everyday meals
  • Supplements for inflammation and hormone health: which nutrients have evidence behind them for reducing oxidative stress and supporting hormone balance, such as NAC, omega-3 and vitamin D, and how to avoid over-supplementing
  • Lifestyle, stress and sleep: how stress, sleep, alcohol, exercise and environmental exposures can drive inflammatory load, and practical strategies to reduce it
  • A live Q&A, where you can put your own questions to Raquel and draw on her clinical experience supporting clients with hormone and fertility challenges

Who should attend

This free webinar is ideal if you want clear, trusted guidance on how inflammation may be affecting your hormones and what you can do about it, including those who are:

  • Experiencing irregular cycles, PMS, painful periods or other signs that their hormones are out of balance
  • Trying to conceive and wanting to understand every factor that may be at play, including those that do not show up on standard tests
  • Preparing for IVF or another assisted conception cycle and looking to optimise their body beforehand
  • Living with PMOS (PCOS), endometriosis, thyroid dysfunction or an autoimmune condition and wanting to understand the role inflammation may play
  • Navigating perimenopause and noticing changes in energy, mood, sleep or weight
  • Feeling that something is "off" despite normal test results, and looking for straightforward, reassuring information from a trusted UK fertility team

Wherever you are on your hormone health journey, you are very welcome.

Plus, we'll be holding a live Q&A at the end of the session, where you can put your own questions to Raquel in real time and draw on her experience supporting individuals and couples with hormone and fertility challenges.

Frequently asked questions

Is this webinar really free?

Yes, the webinar is completely free to attend. Simply sign up below and we'll send you everything you need to join on the day.

How long is the webinar?

The session runs for approximately one hour, with time for questions at the end.

My blood tests have all come back normal. Is this webinar relevant to me?

Absolutely. Standard hormone and fertility investigations do not routinely screen for inflammatory markers. Low-grade inflammation is increasingly recognised as a hidden factor in hormone imbalance and is rarely picked up through conventional testing alone, which is why it is a key focus of the session.

I'm not trying to conceive. Is this webinar still for me?

Yes. While Raquel specialises in fertility, this session looks at hormone health more broadly, including your cycle, blood sugar, stress hormones and thyroid function, so it is relevant whatever stage of life you are at.

I have PMOS (PCOS). Is this webinar particularly relevant to me?

Yes. The session covers the inflammation-PMOS connection in depth, including the role of oxidative stress and insulin resistance in disrupting ovulation and hormone balance. The Zita West PCOS Support Pack has been formulated with these underlying factors in mind, combining NAC, Inositol and Folate, Omega-3, Femceive probiotic, Psyllium Husk and Vitamin D.

Can inflammation really be reduced naturally?

Yes. Nutrition, targeted supplementation and lifestyle changes have all been shown to reduce markers of chronic inflammation. Raquel will explain which changes matter most and how to make them realistic. Nutrients such as NAC and omega-3 have good evidence behind them for reducing oxidative stress, and Zita West NAC is a good starting point for anyone concerned about inflammatory load.

Which supplements are actually worth taking?

The webinar cuts through the confusion, explaining which supplements have genuine evidence behind them for inflammation and hormone health, and where people often waste money. The aim is a targeted plan rather than a cupboard full of products.

Will I receive personalised advice during the webinar?

This is an educational session rather than a clinical consultation. If you would like personalised support on which products are right for your situation, you can book a free 1:1 fertility product consultation with the Zita West team.
